Cookie Johnson, is a devoted philanthropist and a passionate spokesperson for women’s health, HIV, and the rights of the LGBTQIA+ Community. Cookie was the founder of CJ by Cookie Johnson, a premium denim line and is now a NY Times Best-selling author of her inspirational memoir “Believing in Magic.” Cookie uses her voice and platform, through her testimony, to inspire & motivate others. A graduate of Michigan State University, and the wife of basketball legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson, she currently serves on the board of directors of SodexoMAGIC and she is proud to be a member of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture Council.
